Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 May 2026

QuickCalculator is a free, static website. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data on our servers. This policy explains how we use cookies, how our advertising partner Google uses cookies on this site, and what rights you have.

1. Who We Are

QuickCalculator ("we", "our", or "the site") operates at https://quickcalculator.website. We provide free online calculators to help people make quick, informed financial decisions.

If you have questions about this policy, please contact us.

2. Information We Collect

QuickCalculator does not operate a database or back-end server that stores your information. Specifically:

  • We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information.
  • We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
  • Calculator inputs you type are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us.

We store the following data locally in your browser (via localStorage) to remember your preferences between visits:

  • Theme preference — light or dark mode.
  • Unit preference — metric or imperial.
  • Currency preference — your chosen currency symbol.
  • Favourite calculators — which calculators you have starred.
  • Cookie consent choice — whether you accepted or declined advertising cookies.

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. QuickCalculator itself does not set any cookies. However, our third-party advertising partner, Google, may set cookies on your device when ads are displayed. See Section 4 for full details.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Removing cookies will also clear your stored preferences on this site.

4. Advertising — Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google AdSense is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To show you relevant ads, Google and its partners may:

  • Use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to collect information about your visits to this and other websites.
  • Use that information to serve ads based on your past visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • Collect data such as your approximate location, device type, browser type, and pages viewed.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. How to Opt Out of Personalised Ads

You have several options to control how Google uses your data for advertising:

  • Google Ad Settings: Visit adssettings.google.com to manage or opt out of personalised advertising.
  • Network Advertising Initiative: Visit optout.networkadvertising.org to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies.
  • Your Ad Choices: Visit optout.aboutads.info for additional opt-out options.
  • Cookie banner: Use the cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit to decline advertising cookies on this site.

If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised to your interests.

6. Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics service (such as Google Analytics) on this site. If this changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Third-Party Links

This site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, in our sharing buttons or related content). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

8. Children's Privacy

QuickCalculator is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our site, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Economic Area & UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR:

  • Right of access — the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to erasure — the right to request that we delete your personal data.
  • Right to restrict processing — the right to ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Right to object — the right to object to our processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability — the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Because QuickCalculator does not collect personal data on our servers, most of these rights apply to data held by our third-party partners (such as Google). For data held by Google, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and their data deletion tools.

To exercise your rights or raise a concern, please contact us.

10. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know — the right to request disclosure of the personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
  • Right to delete — the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected.
  • Right to opt out — the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, please contact us.

11. Data Retention

As noted above, we do not store any personal data on our servers. Preference data stored locally in your browser remains there until you clear your browser storage or cookies. You can remove it at any time through your browser's settings.

12. Security

QuickCalculator is served over HTTPS to protect data in transit. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no server-side database that could be compromised.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
